Welcome to the website of the Fire Instructors and Training Officers Association of Minnesota (FITOAM).
Our organization is comprised of fire instructors, training officers, and firefighters from throughout Minnesota. Our primary mission is to promote fire training and professional development for fire service members of all ranks. This site contains information about the organization, upcoming seminars and programs, and training resources for fire instructors, training officers and firefighters.

Fire Instructors and Training Officers have the awesome responsibility of preparing the firefighter to competently and safely perform skills and techniques necessary in saving lives and property of the citizens they serve. The potential impact that each instructor and training officer can make through each class they deliver is incalculable.

FITOAM will be a Chapter of the International Society of Fire Service Instructors (ISFSI)

Minnesota has a page on the ISFSI website for us to conduct online training on the ISFSI Academy page.

We also have a Google site where we can exchange ideas via email and also exchange files and other materials used for training.
